World Vision is a provider, a supporter, and a nurturer, among many other things. World Vision recognizes that the world as it stands is not a fair place to live and that there are people who have and those that do not have. World Vision strives to change this by providing resources to, supporting, and nurturing those living in poverty. World Vision gives to those who have never received before. They help build communities, and do so in a progressive, effective, and loving way. World Vision does not discriminate but rather aims to change the world and make this incredible earth an equitable and amazing place to live for all people.
A second year student at Mount Allison, I am a native of Kingston, Ontario with a love of music, theatre, cooking, reading, and photography and a passion for social justice. As the fifth of six children, I have highly developed abilities to wait, take turns, and dodge the dreaded snap of a tea towel while doing the dishes. I want to make a difference in my life and work for a more just world where opportunities abound for all and none are held back by poverty or discrimination.
